Allemans-du-Dropt

Come to visit Allemans-du-Dropt, a typical village. By wandering through the small streets, the country raconteurs Françoise and Linda will tell you the history of the village from its foundation to today.

During the visit, you can admire the cultural and heritage wealth of the village with its washhouses, the halls, the pigeon loft, or the church Saint-Eutrope with its frescoes from the XVth century classified as a Historical Monument (Monuments Historiques).

Guided tour of the village and the frescoes all year long by appointment: €4 per person, or free guided tour every Tuesday during the summer at 10 a.m. leaving from the Café Lou Dropt bar.

Guided tour all year long by appointment : €5 per person or free guided tour every Wednesday during the summer from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Historical place, house of the first duke of Lauzun, classified in 1963.. follow Jean-Paul for a tour witnessing the Renaissance period.

Visit of the Castle : the castle is closed for the summer 2023, no visits can be done by the guid.

Every Thursday during the summer at 10 a.m. leaving from the Tourist Office in Miramont-de-Guyenne, follow a local guid for a free guided tour of the walled town of Miramont.

By following the 12 signs with QR codes for the most connected of you, or with a map-guide available for free in the hut Info Tourism or in some shops, discover the history of this village going along the river Dropt. You can also make an appointment to follow a guided tour of this lovely village.

The “Small Streets Tour” (Circuit des Ruelles) is a free document available in the Tourist Offices, which completes the information given by the signs in the small streets of the walled town.

In French or in English, the free tour of Allemans-du-Dropt is available in front of the Tourist Office. During this walk, learn more about the village’s history, its built heritage, its culture, and the classified frescoes of the church Saint-Eutrope.
